Smart Protector Enhanced (Optional)

Smart Protector Enhanced is a plan that gives you peace of mind by taking care of your UOB credit card monthly outstanding balance in the event of unforeseen circumstances. This plan is limited to cardmembers below the age of 66 years. For a premium of RM0.65 per RM100 outstanding balance per month, your financial obligation on the credit card outstanding balance is protected in the event of Death, Total and permanent disability or diagnosis of any one of the 36 Critical Illnesses. The total benefit payable is subject to a maximum amount of

a) RM 50,000 per Insured Cardmember of single Classic or Gold Credit Card   b) RM100,000 per Insured Cardmember of multiple Classic and/or Gold Credit Cards and   c) RM300,000 per Insured Cardmember of single Platinum Credit Card or multiple Platinum Credit Cards or single Platinum Credit Card with Classic and/or Gold Credit Card.

In the event of Temporary Total Disablement, 5% of the monthly outstanding balance will be payable subject to a maximum accumulated amount of :

a) RM 5,000 per Insured Cardmember of single Classic or Gold Credit Card and/or multiple of Classic and/or Gold Credit Cards subject to a maximum of 20 monthly payments per life time and RM50,000 per policy per year.   b) RM15,000 per Insured Cardmember of single Platinum Credit Card or multiple Platinum Credit Cards or single Platinum Credit Card with Classic and/or Gold Credit Card subject to a maximum of 20 monthly payments per life time and RM150,000 per policy year.

In addition, the above coverage is FREE for the first 60 days upon approval of your application for this life assurance scheme. (Subject to terms and conditions of the master policy)
