Investment Objective
To grow the value of unit holders' investment over the long term in an equity fund that
invests in undervalued and/or undiscovered companies.
Investment Strategies
The Fund will invest up to:
- 70% - 98% in shares of companies that are deemed to be undervalued as measured by
Price/Earning Ratio, Price/Book, Dividend Yield or any other appropriate method as may be determined by
the Manager;
- 2%-30% in liquid assets; and
- 0%-28% in short term fixed income securities of less than 1 year
For purposes of this Fund, the Fund manager will seek stocks of such characteristics from the
following universe:
- Domestic markets - shares that have a market capitalization of RM500 million to RM4
billion at point of acquisition; and
- Foreign markets** - shares that have a market capitalization of USD125 million to
USD4 billion at point of acquisition
**Note: a maximum of 70% will be invested in foreign markets
(Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand or / and India).

The minimum amount for each switch is RM1,000 or such amounts as the
Manager may from time to time decide and is available to any of the Funds offered by CIMB-Principal
Asset Management Berhad. Please note that when a switch is made into a new fund, the switched amount
must meet the minimum application amount of the new fund. Generally, transfer of unit holdings is allowed. |
