Investment Objective
The investment objective of the fund is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in securities issued by companies involved principally in the development, production or distribution of products, equipment and/or services related to healthcare, in any part of the world.

Scope of investments for the fund would include investing in sub-sectors of the healthcare industry such as medical products, health services, major pharmaceuticals, specialty major pharmaceuticals, and specialty pharmaceuticals (e.g. non-prescription drugs, biotechnology, animal).
Investment Strategies
United Global Healthcare Fund (UGHF) is a Singapore-authorised open-ended unit trust fund
UGHF will have an orientation towards fundamental analysis and maintain a long-term investment horizon. Capital appreciation will be emphasized. The focus of UGHF's investment process is stock selection through in-depth fundamental analysis. UCHF take a broad approach to investments in the health care sector, and may include companies from a wide range of sectors including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, health care equipment supplies, health care providers and services industries.
The Manager may take temporary defensive positions that may be inconsistent with the Fund's principal strategy in attempting to respond to adverse market conditions. In addition, it may choose to replace UGHF with other funds of similar objective, if in its view, UGHF no longer meets the Fund's investment objective, or when acting in the interest of Unitholders.
Asset Allocation: The Fund's asset allocation will be to invest a:-
- Min. of 95% of the Fund's NAV into United Global Healthcare Fund (i.e. UGHF); and
- A maximum of 5% of the Fund's NAV into liquid assets.
