OSK-UOB Global Equity Yield Fund
Making your money work for you

Investment Objective

The Fund aims to achieve long term capital appreciation and provide a source of income through investments in securities of companies listed or traded in the global emerging and developed markets.

Investment Strategy

The Fund will invest in equity and equity related securities of companies that have a combination of high growth potential over a medium to long term period and companies offering an above average dividend yield, good management, sound fundamentals and consistent earnings growth. This combination should ensure the regular payment of dividends as well as the potential for price performance. Due to the emphasis on dividend and quality, the Fund is likely to possess below average exposure in low yielding countries and low yielding sectors. However, absolute volatility and downside risk should be relatively lower for the Fund as the emphasis is on yield.

The Manager adopts a bottom-up approach, tapping on its established research capabilities and continuously conducting reviews to optimize the portfolio. As a sell discipline, the Manager will realize the investments of the Fund when, in the Manager's opinion, a fair value is reached or when better investment alternatives present themselves. On this basis, the portfolio of the Fund comprises mostly stocks which have high dividend yield and price performance potential.
