Investment Objective

The Fund seeks to provide capital protection and capital growth over the tenure of the Fund.


Investment Policies and Strategies

The Fund will invest at least 85% of the capital raised during the Initial Offer Period ("IOP") in ZNIDs issued at a discount from banks and/or financial institutions in Malaysia. The remainder of the capital raised will be invested in an over-the-counter option linked to the performance of 3 baskets of 9 stocks in the financial sector. The 3 baskets of 9 stocks are segmented into Investment Banks, Insurance Companies and Universal Banks, whereby each basket will contain 3 stocks each.

While the ZNIDs should mature into 100% of the capital raised on the Maturity Date, thereby providing the capital protection, the investment in the option is meant to provide potential income to the Fund. features ensures that distribution in year 2 and 3 are floored at previous years' distribution


Asset Allocation:

  • At least 85% of the Fund's NAV in Zero-coupon Negotiable Instruments of Deposit

  • Up to 10% of the Fund's NAV in option

  • Up to 5% of the Fund's NAV in cash or cash equivalent
