Investment Objective

The Fund seeks to provide moderate returns on the maturity date while seeking to protect capital by investing in global equity-related Islamic structured investment.


Investment Process and Strategy

The asset allocation of the Fund comprises two main components:-

  • The Islamic Global EquityBuilder Certificates issued by Deutsche Bank AG,
    the risky asset of the Fund


  • The Fixed Income Portfolio, the risk free asset comprising the zero coupon
    bonds issued by Deutsche AG.


  • The Fund undertakes dynamic allocation between the Islamic Global
    EquityBuilder Certificates and the Fixed Income Portfolio in order to optimise
    the returns of the Fund and principal protects at the same time.


  • The allocation between equity asset and the cash asset will vary depending on the prevailing market conditions.
