UOB (Malaysia) Opens Its Doors in Cheras and Ampang
Kuala Lumpur, 12 January 2011 - United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd ["UOB (Malaysia)"] opened its doors to bring banking convenience to Cheras and Ampang communities with the opening of two new branches. Both branches are equipped with Privilege Banking Centres. Along with UOB Ijok and USJ Taipan opened last year, these two new branches bring the Bank’s total to 45 branches nationwide.
With the opening of UOB Cheras and UOB Ampang, UOB (Malaysia) will make its presence felt in these two vibrant locations. Said Mr Chan Kok Seong, Director and Chief Executive Officer of UOB (Malaysia), "Due to the strategic locations of our two new branches, UOB is now able to reach out to many more corporate and individual customers located or residing in the many commercial/residential hubs in and around Cheras as well as Ampang"
