UOB (Malaysia) Customers Have Access To More than 10,000 ATMs For Banking Transactions

Kuala Lumpur, 30 March 2011 - Effective from 10 March 2011, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd [UOB (Malaysia)] became a member of MEPS Shared ATM Network, offering customers access to more than 10,000 ATMs across Malaysia. In addition to the extensive network of 45 branches throughout the country, the ATMs will provide more convenience to customers who are already enjoying the convenience of UOB's existing ATMs and Personal Internet Banking facilities.

In addition to the ATMs in Malaysia, customers are also offered the convenience of more than 1,000 ATMs offered by the UOB network across the region where the Bank has a presence. For example, customers can withdraw cash from a UOB ATM in Singapore with their UOB Malaysia ATM card.

In the near future, UOB (Malaysia) plans to offer additional service features on the MEPS Shared ATM Network including funds transfer for loan and credit card payments, prepaid top-up for mobile phone users and cross-border transactions.
