  • Dr Samsuri Sharif

    Dr Samsuri bin Sharif is a graduate of Law and Islamic Economics who specialises in Muamalat, Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence, and Islamic Banking & Finance. Dr Samsuri holds an LLB in Shariah & Law from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan; Master in Islamic Economics from Yarmouk University Jordan; and a PhD (Law) from International Islamic University Malaysia. He was previously a lecturer at the International Islamic University Malaysia in Usul Al Fiqh, Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Economics.

  • Prof Dr Norhashimah Bt Mohd Yasin

    Prof Dr Norhashimah Bt Mohd Yasin is a Professor of Law at the Department of Civil Law, Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University of Malaysia. Prof.Dr Norhashimah’s areas of specialisation are in Islamic Banking & Finance, Takaful and the legal implications of money laundering. In addition, she also possesses a Professional Diploma in Translation and a Unit Trust Certification.

  • Asst Prof Dr Marhanum Che Mohd Salleh

    Asst Prof Dr Marhanum Che Mohd Salleh is a graduate from University Malaya and is currently serving at the Department of Finance, International Islamic University of Malaysia. She completed her PhD in Islamic Banking & Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2014. She earlier obtained her M.Sc. (Finance) from the same university in 2009. To date she has published a number of research papers on Takaful and been actively involved in research projects under the International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance.

  • Dr Sharifah Faigah Syed Alwi

    Dr Sharifah Faigah Syed Alwi holds a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Her lectures cover Usul Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Fiqh Muamalat (Islamic Law of Transaction), Islamic Finance as well as Islamic Financial Framework Regulations and Governance. She has presented many papers, particularly on Islamic Trade Finance in various seminars and conferences both locally and internationally. Dr Sharifah is also working on a Shariah Committee role at Export Import (Exim) Bank concurrently.

  • Ahmad Zakirullah b. Mohamed Shaarani

    Ahmad Zakirullah b. Mohamed Shaarani is a holder of Master in Islamic Revealed Knowledge - Majoring in Fiqh & Usul Fiqh (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2008. Also known as Ustaz Zakirullah, he started off his career as a Research Assistant at Malaysia Islamic College of University and subsequently ventured into the field of Shariah advisory and consultancy with Islamic Banking and Finance Institute of Malaysia since 2008. Apart from that, he had also held post as a tutor and trainer in the past.
