Fraud Reporting

The Kill Switch is a self-service security feature that allows you to disable your digital access on the Personal Internet Banking and UOB TMRW app instantly to protect your funds from online scams and enhance your online banking security.

There are 2 ways you can use the Kill Switch to instantly protect your funds if you suspect that you’ve been scammed:

Call UOB Malaysia’s Fraud Reporting Hotline (+603 2612 8100)

  • Press 1 to speak to an agent to report the suspected fraudulent transaction(s)

  • Press 2 disable your Internet and Mobile Banking Access (Self-Serve) immediately

 

Once the digital access is disabled, you will receive an email and SMS notification and any active login session will be immediately logged out.

To re-activate your digital access, please visit your nearest UOB branch for assistance.

 

  • Enquire on balance of current and/or savings account as well as credit cards

  • Enquire on Credit Card application status

  • UNIRM Rewards redemption

  • Change Telephone PIN (TPIN)


Please note that we no longer offer the following services as part of our Phone Banking services:

  • Funds transfer

  • Bill payment

  • Fixed Deposit or Time Deposit Placement

  • Cheque-related services

Please log on to UOB Personal/Business Internet Banking to perform the above transactions.


Cheque books can be ordered via the following alternative channels:

  1. Personal / Business Internet Banking.
    *If you are not a registered user, you may sign up for our internet banking service.

  2. Any UOB branch.

  3. Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
    Only for individual / personal account

You can now access your account information via Phone Banking by entering your NRIC or card number and subsequently with a one-time password sent via SMS to your registered mobile number. Please ensure that your mobile number is updated, and it is switched on.

To update your mobile number, please log on to UOB Personal Internet Banking. Alternatively, you can fill up this form by clicking here.

  • Activate & create PIN for Credit and Debit cards

  • Request for Credit Card Fee waiver

  • Report loss of Credit and Debit cards

  • Personal Loan and Balance Transfer application

  • Online Account opening service/enquiry
